IRC+ for precise color matching

Task lamps used for colour matching must have a light source with a high CRI value. The standard CRI value is calculated as an average of the first 8 R values ​​out of a total of 15. This means that, for example, the R9 (red) value, which is important for accurate colour recognition, is not taken into account for the CRI value. SCANGRIP now introduces the term CRI+, defined as the average of all 15 R values. This is the only correct definition of the CRI value that should be used for accurate and reliable colour matching.

Due to the special characteristics of LEDs, this lighting range is perfect for any painting, polishing, cleaning or preparation operation. This means that, for example, holograms and polishing errors will be detected during work operations, thus avoiding several days of costly rework.
